Home / Student Life: Preschool

Welcome

Preschool is a joyful and exciting time for everyone.  The Preschool at Our Lady Star of the Sea School offers a developmentally appropriate program designed to promote cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth in a nurturing atmosphere.  We offer an integrated program to develop the whole child.  Each child is unique and special and we are dedicated to provide engaging, meaningful, hands-on activities in a play-based environment designed to respond to each child’s individual learning needs.

We are thrilled to offer your child the opportunity to work with The Handwriting Without Tears program.  The program was developed by two Occupational Therapists* and has so many child-friendly, developmentally appropriate materials and activities.  The children play, build, sing, move and learn while developing important skills for life long learning.
